Comics Come Alive!

Old-school comic strips that move, talk, and occasionally sneeze on you. Pick a strip and turn the page.

Gus Can't Fire

One small dragon. One big birthday. One very runny nose.

Grandma Scorchbottom is turning 500. Gus has one job.

Light the candles, sweet pea!

I got this, Grandma! *sniff*

AHH...

AHHHH...

One teeny problem. Gus has a cold.

AH-CHOO!!

Instead of fire... bubbles.

Tap Gus to sneeze. Pop the bubbles!

WHEEE!

I can see my house from here!

The party got... floaty.

Grandma had never been happier.

Best birthday in 400 years!

Really?!

The next morning, Gus felt all better.

FWOOSH!

Oops.

...Sweet pea?

The Yogurt Job

A hard-boiled breakroom mystery. Somebody ate Linda's yogurt. Somebody's going to pay.

LABEL YOURFOOD!!!

The breakroom. 9:14 A.M. The fridge hummed like it knew something.

My strawberry yogurt had my NAME on it, Frank.

In this office, a name is just a suggestion.

6'6"6'5'6"5' KEVIN, ITTHE INTERNFISH GUY

Three suspects. Three motives. One spoon.

I ONLY eat fish.

Is this my performance review?

I don't break suspects. They break themselves.

SLAM!

Where were you at 2 A.M., kid?

Asleep! I'm an unpaid intern!

LINDA F.M.

Midnight. Back at the scene. The clues were whispering.

Captain Kablam and the Very Big Ladder

A pop-up comic. Drag the page to peek around the cutouts.

Emergency! A cat is stuck on the moon.

Captain Kablam! Fly up there!

The mightiest hero alive...

...is scared of heights.

Fly? Ha! Yes. Flying. Totally.

gulp.

So instead of flying... he built a ladder.

Technically, this counts.

BANG!

BANG!

?

Morning!

Don't look down. Don't look down.

238,900 miles later...

Wait. Now I'M the one who's stuck!

mrrp.

Later, the cat called the fire department. For him.

Comic strips that actually move

Comics Come Alive is a home for original comic strips drawn in the old-school style, with halftone dots, thick ink borders and hand-lettered speech bubbles, then brought to life with motion, sound and things you can poke. Panels ink in one at a time, sound effects punch off the page, and some strips let you take part: make a dragon sneeze, send the text you shouldn't, or sweep a flashlight across a crime scene.

There are strips for young kids, for teens and for grown-ups, plus pop-up 3D comics you can look around. Every story here is original.
